Early Childhood Development (ECD) Program

75% of children in our communities lack access to pre-school education, entering primary school unprepared and falling behind from day one. Poor nutrition and limited early stimulation create learning gaps that persist throughout their lives.

With Uganda’s education and health sectors underfunded, vulnerable families cannot afford quality early childhood programs. This undermines UN SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health), and SDG 4 (Quality Education) achievement.

Our Solution

We sponsor vulnerable children in quality early childhood programs while training parents to support development at home. Our holistic approach combines pre-school education, nutrition support, health services, and parent training to build the strongest possible foundation.

Our Impact

✓ 98% of our ECD graduates demonstrate school readiness
✓ 85% reduction in malnutrition among program children
✓ 90% of parents report improved child-rearing knowledge
✓ Children show 40% better learning outcomes compared to peers

Investment in early childhood yields the highest return – every dollar spent saves $7 in future interventions.
