Family Strengthening

Family instability drives child vulnerability. Extreme poverty, domestic challenges, and health crises create unsafe environments where children cannot thrive.

With Uganda’s hospitals underfunded and international aid reduced, families lack access to basic healthcare and mental health services. This crisis directly undermines UN SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), making it impossible for children to succeed in school.

Our Solution

We strengthen family foundations through economic empowerment, counseling services, health education, and crisis intervention. Our community-based approach builds support networks while addressing both immediate health needs and long-term family stability.

Our Impact

✓ 40% reduction in household poverty among participating families
✓ 80% of families report improved relationships and communication
✓ 95% of children receive essential health services through our programs
✓ 150+ families reached with emergency support annually

When families thrive economically and emotionally, children flourish academically and socially.
