Eddy is an avid fan of football… He has played an important part in nurturing talent in the children and youth of Luweero. He was the head coach of Sterling Primary School which competed extensively on the district level and headed Sterling FC which competed in different tournaments most notably Sekabira Cup. He founded Titans Soccer Club in 2022 and they are currently playing in the FUFA fourth division. Under the Titans umbrella, he has been taking care of talented boys aged between 5 and 16 giving them housing, feeding, and also paying their school fees at both Kasaala primary and secondary school while helping them grow their talents
